Tilemachos Canthus Foundation, Nicosia | Cyprus For Travellers

Tilemachos Canthus Foundation is located in Nicosia, on Agiou Nikolaou Street, opposite the Pallouriotissa III Elementary School. The museum is dedicated to the art of this famous post-impressionist Cypriot artist.

The exhibition reflects Canthus’ artistic emergence and growth. It includes his pencil works and unfinished canvases. Canthus experimented with a variety of genres and techniques and the exhibition also includes the objects that he created for Cypriot theaters, such as decorations and costumes.
